The title of this blog stems from an islamic ethics course  I took a couple of years ago where the teacher described truthfulness as encompassing sincerity in speech, deeds and intention, and explained that each type of truthfulness reinforces and stems from the others.

Actions are according to intentions, a famous Prophetic tradition tells us, and the intent behind this site is to chronicle my journey towards truthfulness in these three aspects.

God-willing, this will be a place to reflect on life happenings, interesting people, intriguing adventures, thought provoking readings and the myriad aspects of  seeking truthfully. It’s a space to explore faith, challenge assumptions, and learn from others. I’m Muslim and that definitely comes through on the blog, but a variety of readers are welcomed.
